McClung (given age 50-60) on the 1840 Census on 1 June 1840 Town of Fayette, Seneca County, New York.4 Catherin Emerich (given age 38) was listed as a household member living with Joseph Emerich (given age 42) on the 1850 Census on 9 August 1850 Town of Fayette, Seneca County, New York.5 Kate Emerich (given age 47) was listed as a household member living with Joseph Emerich (given age 51) on the 1860 Census on 21 June 1860 at Davenport, Scott County, Iowa.6 Catharine Emmerich (given age 58) was listed as a household member living with Joseph Emmerich (given age 63) on the 1870 Census on 25 August 1870 Davenport, Scott County, Iowa.7 Chaterine Emerick (given age 69) was listed as the wife of Joseph Emerick (given age 72) on the 1880 Census recorded 9 June 1880 at 2204 Eddie Street, Davenport, Scott County, Iowa.8
     Catherine died on 7 May 1887 Davenport, Scott County, Iowa, at age 75 leaving Joseph as a widower.2 Catherine McClung was buried in the Oakdale Cemetery, located at Davenport, Scott County, Iowa.9

     Her husband, John, died on 17 August 1847 at Seneca County, New York, leaving Mary as a widow.1 Mary Emerick (given age 36) was listed as a household member living with Maria McClung (given age 57) on the 1850 Census on 25 October 1850 at Republic, Seneca County, Ohio.4 Mary Emerick (given age 46) was listed as a household member living with George W. Smith (given age 27) on the 1860 Census on 27 June 1860 at Bloom Township, Seneca County, Ohio.5 Mary Emerick (given age 56) was listed as a household member living with John Emerick (given age 37) on the 1870 Census on 25 August 1870 at Platte Valley, Douglas County, Nebraska.6

     Charles L. died on 6 June 1890 Tama, Tama County, Iowa, at age 66.2
     Charles's obituary appeared on 11 June 1890, in the Toledo Chronicle, published at Toledo, Lucas County, Ohio. As listed in the obituary, Charles was survived by.1

     In the will of Henry McCartney (II) dated 8 February 1842, Robert W. McCartney was named as an heir.5,6
     At age 22, Robert W. McCartney married Louisa M. Webster, daughter of Lyman Webster and Dimmis Stebbins, on Thursday, 2 May 1850 at Essex, Clinton County, Michigan.7,8
     The 1850 US Census enumerated him as Robert W. McCartney (given age 22), the head of household at Essex Township, Clinton County, Michigan, on 19 September 1850. Louisa M. McCartney (given age 18) was listed as a household member. Robert was employed as a Carpenter and Joiner.9
