     The 1870 US Census enumerated him as John A. Ellis (given age 44), the head of household at Lansing Township, Ingham County, Michigan, on 31 August 1870. Martha Ellis (given age 42) and Clarence Ellis (given age 18) were listed as household members. John was self employed as a farmer.4
     His wife, Martha, died of consumption on 10 September 1872 at Lansing, Ingham County, Michigan, leaving John Albert as a widower.5
     John Albert Ellis married second Sophia J. (?).
     The 1880 US Census enumerated him as John A. Ellis (given age 55), the head of household Lansing Township, Ingham County, Michigan, on 2 June 1880. Also living in the household were his wife, Sophia Ellis (given age 44) , a servant, Margaret Brown (given age 11). John was self employed as a farmer.6
     His wife, Sophia, died of disease of heart on 5 January 1892 Lansing, Ingham County, Michigan, leaving John Albert as a widower.5
     John Albert Ellis married third Mary A. Sloan, age 54 on Wednesday, 8 March 1893 at Holt, Ingham County, Michigan.7
     The 1900 US Census enumerated him as John A. Ellis (given age 75), the head of household at Eaton Rapids, Eaton County, Michigan, on 11 June 1900. Also living in the household was his wife, Mary A. Ellis (given age 61).8

     At age 22, Sarah Leach married Judge William L. Clark, age 20, son of Samuel Clark and Sarah McClung, on Tuesday, 2 March 1790.1 Sarah Clark was probably included as a free white female, age twenty-six to forty-five years old, in the household of William Clark (given age 26-44) on the 1800 Census on 4 August 1800 at Milton, Cayuga County, New York.2 Sarah Clark was probably included as a free white female, age twenty-six to forty-five years old, in the household of William Clark (given age 26-44) on the 1810 Census on 6 August 1810 at Genoa, Cayuga County, New York.2 Sarah Clark was probably included as a free white female, over forty-five years old, in the household of William Clark (given age 45+) on the 1820 Census on 7 August 1820 Genoa, Cayuga County, New York.3
     Sarah died on 26 July 1821 at Eden Township, Seneca County, Ohio, at age 54 leaving William L. as a widower.1 Sarah Leach was buried in the Rock Creek Cemetery, located at Eden Township, Seneca County, Ohio.4

Based on ages, it is possible that the following were also living in the household: John R. Clark, a free white male, age newborn to 10 years old, Hannah Clark, a free white female, age newborn to ten years of age, Margaret Clark, a free white female, ages twenty-six to forty-five years of age.4
     The 1830 US Census enumerated him as William L. Clark (given age 40-50), the head of household at Eden Township, Seneca County, Ohio, on 1 June 1830. Judge Mathew Clark 1794-1856
     Judge Mathew Clark was born on Wednesday, 24 December 1794.1 He was probably included as a free white male, newborn to ten years old, in the household of William Clark (given age 26-44) on the 1800 Census on 4 August 1800 at Milton, Cayuga County, New York.2 Judge Mathew Clark was probably included as a free white male, age ten to sixteen years old, in the household of William Clark (given age 26-44) on the 1810 Census on 6 August 1810 at Genoa, Cayuga County, New York.2
     Judge Mathew Clark married Susannah (?).1
     Judge Mathew Clark was appointed to the office of Associate Judge of Seneca County by the General Assembly of Ohio, on 19 February 1824.3
     Matthew Clark, elected associate judge in 1824, was an old settler of Eden Township. Notwithstanding his high position, one Hamilton McCollister, a justice of the peace of Eden, had him arrested and tried for Sabbath breaking, and had him fined November 13, 1827. This led to the cause celebre of that time, Clark vs. McCollister for false imprisonment; Dickenson & Rawson for plaintiff, David Higgins for defendant. The jury assessed damages at $21.50, but McCollister appealed the case, the jury disagreed, and McCollister brought the subject before the supreme court, where it was discontinued.
     Judge Mathew Clark was the executor of Samuel Clark's estate on 4 January 1830 at Seneca County, Ohio.4
     The 1830 US Census enumerated him as Mathew Clark (given age 30-40), the head of household at Eden Township, Seneca County, Ohio, on 1 June 1830. Based on ages, it is possible that the following were also living in the household: . William L. Clark (given age 40-50) and David McClung (given age 30-40) were listed as neighbors.5
     The 1840 US Census enumerated him as Matthew Clark (given age 40-50), the head of household Eden Township, Seneca County, Ohio, on 1 June 1840. Based on ages, it is possible that the following were also living in the household: , Susannah Clark, a free white female age thirty to forty years old.6
     The 1850 US Census enumerated him as Mathew Clark (given age 56), the head of household Eden Township, Seneca County, Ohio, on 2 October 1850. Susannah Clark (given age 49), Sarah J. Clark (given age 22), Mathew Clark (given age 14), Margaret Clark (given age 13) and Nancy S. Clark (given age 9) were listed as household members.7
     Mathew died on 26 October 1856 Eden Township, Seneca County, Ohio, at age 61.1 He was buried in the Rock Creek Cemetery, located at Eden Township, Seneca County, Ohio.8

     The 1830 US Census enumerated him as David Clark (given age 30-40), the head of household at Elkhart County, Indiana, on 1 June 1830. Based on ages, it is possible that the following were also living in the household: Eleutheros Americus Clark, a free white male, newborn to 5 years old, Lovina Fidelia Clark, a free white female age five to ten years of age, Sarah Mariah Clark, a free white female age ten to fifteen years old, Anna Clark, a free white female age thirty to forty years old.6
     David Clark relocated at Michigan in 1831.
     David Clark was a the owner of the General Store at White Pigeon, St. Joseph County, Michigan.2
     David died on 19 March 1837 White Pigeon, St. Joseph County, Michigan, at age 40.1

     Louisa Clark was born on Wednesday, 26 March 1806.1
     At age 40, Louisa Clark married Clark Brown, age 42 on Tuesday, 16 March 1847 at Seneca County, Ohio.2
     Her husband, Clark, died on 15 March 1856 at Eden Township, Seneca County, Ohio, at age 51, leaving Louisa as a widow.1 Louisa Brown (given age 54) was listed as a household member living with Arvillia Clark (given age 43) on the 1860 Census on 16 July 1860 Eden Township, Seneca County, Ohio. She was employed as a seamstress.3 Louisa Brown (given age 64) was listed as a household member living with Arvilla Clark (given age 52) on the 1870 Census on 1 June 1870 Eden Township, Seneca County, Ohio.4
     Louisa died on 31 October 1870 Eden Township, Seneca County, Ohio, at age 64.1 She was buried in the Rock Creek Cemetery, located at Eden Township, Seneca County, Ohio.5

     The 1850 US Census enumerated him as Samuel Clark (given age 39), the head of household at Milton Township, Wood County, Ohio, on 16 August 1850. Hannah Clark (given age 36), Sarah J. Clark (given age 13) and Emily Clark (given age 10) were listed as household members. Samuel was self employed as a farmer.2
     The 1860 US Census enumerated him as Samuel Clark (given age 49), the head of household Milton Township, Wood County, Ohio, on 10 June 1860. Hannah Clark (given age 37) and Jane Clark (given age 22) were listed as household members. Samuel was self employed as a farmer.3
     The 1870 US Census enumerated him as Samuel Clark (given age 59), the head of household at Weston Township, Wood County, Ohio, on 6 June 1870. Hannah Clark (given age 57) and Mary Cunningham (given age 16) were listed as household members. Samuel was self employed as a farmer.4
     The 1880 US Census enumerated him as Samuel S. Clark (given age 68), the head of household Weston Township, Wood County, Ohio, on 14 June 1880. Also living in the household were his wife, Hannah Clark (given age 67), his daughter, Jennie Clark (given age 43) .5
     Samuel S. died on 28 June 1895 at Weston, Wood County, Ohio, at age 83.1

     Margaret Rouse was born say 1787 at New York.1
     Margaret Rouse married William Leach Clark, age 23, son of Judge William L. Clark and Sarah Leach, in September 1815 at New York.2 Margaret Clark was probably included as a free white female, age twenty-six to forty-five years old, in the household of William Clark (given age 26-44) on the 1820 Census on 7 August 1820 at Genoa, Cayuga County, New York.3
     Margaret died in 1834 at Illinois.2

     The 1850 US Census enumerated him as John R. Clark (given age 33), the head of household at District 37, Whiteside County, Illinois, on 29 August 1850. Katherine Clark (given age 28) and Martha Doan (given age 12) were listed as household members. John was self employed as a farmer.3
     Nothing further is known of him.
