     Edward Jameson Campbell was born on Saturday, 9 July 1898 at Chicago, Cook County, Illinois.1,2 He was listed as the son of George Campbell (given age 31) on the 1900 Census recorded 4 June 1900 at 536 Laurel Avenue, Chicago, Cook County, Illinois.3 Jameson Campbell (given age 12) was listed as the son of George Campbell (given age 41) on the 1910 Census recorded 26 April 1910 at 5822 West Superior Street, Chicago, Cook County, Illinois.4
     Edward Jameson Campbell (given age 20) registered for the World War I civilian draft on 12 September 1918, while residing at 5411 Verse Avenue, St. Louis, Missouri. Dr. George Alexander Campbell was named as his nearest relative. Edward was a sttudent at Washington University in St. Louis.1 He was listed as the son of George A. Campbell (given age 52) on the 1920 Census recorded 3 January 1920 at St. Louis, Missouri.5
     Edward Jameson Campbell married Mary A. Whaley say 1922.
     The 1930 US Census enumerated him as Edward Campbell (given age 32), the head of household at 2707 Wyoming Street, St. Louis, Missouri, on 14 April 1930. Also living in the household were his wife, Anna Campbell (given age 26), his daughters, Marion Campbell (given age 7) and Gloria Campbell . Edward was employed as a machinist in a machine shop.6
     Edward Jameson died of cancer of stomach on 16 April 1946 at 6325 McPherson Avenue, University City, St. Louis County, Missouri, at age 47 leaving Mary A. as a widow.2 Edward Jameson Campbell was buried on Thursday, 18 April 1946 in the Oak Grove Cemetery, located at St. Louis County, Missouri.2
