Also living in the household were his wife, Trifena Kime (given age 60), his daughter, Nellie Kime (given age 21) . Charles was employed as the operator of his own farm.8

The 1930 US Census enumerated him as Manly Kime (given age 68), the head of household Medina, Lenawee County, Michigan, on 15 April 1930. Also living in the household was, his sister, Gertrude Keime (given age 63). Manly was employed as a farm laborer.7
Christian Manly died on 24 April 1940 at age 78.2
