Also living in the household were his wife, Margrit Covert (given age 33), his son, Newell Covert (given age 7), his daughter, Minnie Covert (given age 11), his brother, Arthur Covert (given age 16) . Dorr was employed as an engineer.3
His wife, Margaret, died on 27 June 1885 at age 38, leaving Dorr Clark as a widower.4
