     The 1930 US Census enumerated him as Edward Lester (given age 41), the head of household at Clifford, Lapeer County, Michigan, on 3 April 1930. Also living in the household were his wife, Nellie Lester (given age 38), his sons, Arthur Lester (given age 20), Clinton Lester (given age 17), Edward Lester (given age 8) and Leon Lester (given age 2 years, 3 months) . Edward was employed as a laborer at a milk station.5
     Edward died in 1944 Clifford, Lapeer County, Michigan.1 He was buried in the West Burlington Cemetery, located at Silverwood, Lapeer County, Michigan.1

     Leon died in September 1969.3
