     Hiram Buck was born on Sunday, 2 August 1801 at Shaftsbury, Bennington County, Vermont.1 He was probably included as a free white male, newborn to ten years old, in the household of Francis Buck (given age 45+) on the 1810 Census on 6 August 1810 at Dorset, Bennington County, Vermont.2
     At age 18, Hiram Buck married first Harriet Nimms on Tuesday, 28 March 1820 at Heath, Franklin County, Massachusetts.3
     The 1820 US Census enumerated him as Hiram Buck (given age 26-44), the head of household Heath, Franklin County, Massachusetts, on 7 August 1820. Based on ages, it is possible that the following were also living in the household:, Harriet Buck, a free white female, ages sixteen to twenty-six years of age.4
     At age 22, Hiram Buck married second Lucy Higgins, age 26 in January 1824 Heath, Franklin County, Massachusetts.3
     The 1830 US Census enumerated him as Hiram Buck (given age 20-30), the head of household Heath, Franklin County, Massachusetts, on 1 June 1830. Based on ages, it is possible that the following were also living in the household: , Lucy Buck, a free white female age thirty to forty years old.5
     The 1840 US Census enumerated him as Hiram A. Buck (given age 40-50), the head of household at Russell Township, Saint Lawrence County, New York, on 1 June 1840. Based on ages, it is possible that the following were also living in the household: , Lucy Buck, a free white female age forty to fifty years old.6
     At age 43, Hiram Buck married Amerilles Wheaton, age 41 on Sunday, 24 November 1844 at Tioga County, Pennsylvania.
     The 1850 US Census enumerated him as Hiram Buck (given age 46), the head of household at Crown Point, Essex County, New York, on 24 August 1850. Alameda Buck (given age 39), Hiram Buck (given age 11), Alameda Buck (given age 8), Rauson Buck (given age 5), Mary Buck (given age 21), Jane Oarknan (given age 30), John Dorson (given age 19) and Jane Celsy (given age 17) were listed as household members. Hiram was employed as a Merchant.7
     The 1860 US Census enumerated him as Hiram Buck (given age 59), the head of household at Elkland, Tioga County, Pennsylvania, on 14 July 1860. Amanthis Buck (given age 57), Lucretia Buck (given age 21), Chas. Buck (given age 14) and John Chase (given age 66) were listed as household members. Hiram was employed as a Blacksmith.8
     The 1870 US Census enumerated him as Hiram Buck (given age 69), the head of household at Harrison Township, Potter County, Pennsylvania, in July 1870. Ammeriles Buck (given age 67) was listed as a household member. Hiram was employed as a Blacksmith.9
     At the time of the death of his sister, Lucretia in 1872, Hiram resided at New York.10
     Hiram died on 6 February 1879 at age 77.

     At age 20, Bethiah Chapin married Jonathan Thayer, age 23, son of Jonathan Thayer and Elizabeth French, on Monday, 1 October 1714 Mendon, Worcester County, Province of Massachusetts Bay.
     Bethiah died on 1 April 1740 Mendon, Worcester County, Province of Massachusetts Bay, at age 46.
