     George C. Dimm was born on Wednesday, 7 February 1855 at Huron County, Ohio.1 George Dimm (given age 5) was listed as a household member living with Thomas Dimm (given age 49) on the 1860 Census on 7 July 1860 at New Haven Township, Huron County, Ohio.2 George Dimm (given age 15) was listed as a household member living with Thomas Dimm (given age 60) on the 1870 Census on 9 August 1870 New Haven Township, Huron County, Ohio.2 George C. Dimm was educated between 1873 and 1876 Hillsdale College, located at Hillsdale, Hillsdale County, Michigan.
     George C. Dimm relocated at Kansas in 1879.
     At age 24, George C. Dimm married Harriett E. Ironmonger, daughter of C. A. Ironmonger and Harriet Ellis, on Thursday, 11 September 1879.
     The 1880 US Census enumerated him as George C. Dimm (given age 25), the head of household at Cedron Township, Lincoln County, Kansas, on 29 June 1880. Also living in the household was his wife, Hattie Dimm (given age 24).3
     The 1885 Kansas State Census enumerated him as G. C. Dimm (given age 30), the head of household at Franklin Township, Jackson County, Kansas, on 1 March 1885. Hattie Dimm (given age 29) and Gracie Dimm (given age 3) were listed as household members. G. was employed as a Farmer.4
     George C. Dimm was a Probate Judge at the County Courthouse from 1898 to 1902 at Holton, Jackson County, Kansas.1
     The 1900 US Census enumerated him as George C. Dimm (given age 45), the head of household at Illinois Avenue, Holton, Jackson County, Kansas, on 18 June 1900. Also living in the household was his wife, Hattie Dimm (given age 44), his daughter, Grace Dimm (given age 18) . George was employed as a Probate Judge.5
     George C. Dimm was a secretary and treasurer of the American Independent Telephone Company from 1902 to 1912 Holton, Jackson County, Kansas.1
The 1905 Kansas State Census enumerated him as G. C. Dimm (given age 50), the head of household Holton, Jackson County, Kansas, on 1 March 1905. H. E. Dimm (given age 50) was listed as a household member. G. was employed as a Farmer.6 A biography of George C. Dimm was published in 1912.
     The 1920 US Census enumerated him as George C. Dimm (given age 64), the head of household at Burlingame Township, Osage County, Kansas, on 1 April 1920. Also living in the household was his wife, Hattie Dimm (given age 64). George was employed as a Farmer.7
     His wife, Harriett, died say 1922, leaving George C. as a widower.
     George C. Dimm married second Mary A. (?).
     The 1925 Kansas State Census enumerated him as G. C. Dimm (given age 70), the head of household Franklin Township, Jackson County, Kansas, on 1 March 1925. Also living in the household was his wife, Mary Dimm (given age 60).8
     George C. Dimm lived in December 1926 Holton, Jackson County, Kansas. He was listed in the obituary of Charles A. Dimm on 3 December 1926, in the Tiffin Tribune, published at Tiffin, Seneca County, Ohio, as a surviving brother.9
     The 1930 US Census enumerated him as George C. Dimm (given age 75), the head of household Franklin Township, Jackson County, Kansas, on 28 April 1930. Also living in the household were his wife, Mary A. Dimm (given age 64), his grandsons, Morris D. Gilkerson (given age 15) and James W. Gilkerson (given age 9) . George was employed as a Farmer.10
