     John McClung McCartney was born on Tuesday, 21 June 1831 at Scipio Township, Seneca County, Ohio.1 He was probably included as a free white male, age five to ten years old, in the household of Henry McCartney (given age 40-50) on the 1840 Census on 1 June 1840 Scipio Township, Seneca County, Ohio.2,3
     In the will of Henry McCartney (II) dated 8 February 1842, John McClung McCartney was named as an heir.4,5 John McCartney (given age 19) was listed as a household member living with Chris. Keime (given age 83) on the 1850 Census on 9 August 1850 at Town of Fayette, Seneca County, New York.6
     Nothing further is known of him.

McCartney (given age 37) on the 1900 Census recorded 16 June 1900 at St. Paul Precinct, Howard County, Nebraska.4
     Maud Bernice McCartney married Joseph Rohman say 1905.2 Maud Rohman (given age 26) was listed as the wife of Joseph P. Rohman (given age 28) on the 1910 Census recorded 21 May 1910 St. Paul Precinct, Howard County, Nebraska.5 Maud B. Rheman (given age 32) was listed as the wife of Joseph P. Rheman (given age 38) on the 1920 Census recorded 8 January 1920 at Warsaw Precinct, Howard County, Nebraska.6 Maud Rohman (given age 43) was listed as the wife of Joseph Rohman (given age 48) on the 1930 Census recorded 2 April 1930 Warsaw Precinct, Howard County, Nebraska.7
     Maud Bernice died on 24 February 1976 at St. Paul, Howard County, Nebraska, at age 88.2,3
