     Nelson Alonzo Newton married Elizabeth (?) say 1923.
     The 1930 US Census enumerated him as Nelson A. Newton (given age 40), the head of household at 826 North Cheyenne Street, Tulsa, Tulsa County, Oklahoma, on 3 April 1930. Also living in the household were his wife, Elizabeth Newton (given age 35), his son, Robert J. Newton (given age 1 year, 11 months), his daughter, Elizabeth Newton (given age 4) . Nelson was employed as a manager at a gas company.7
     Nelson Alonzo Newton (given age 54) registered for the civilian draft for WW II on 25 April 1942, while residing at 202 Hazel Boulevard, Tulsa, Tulsa County, Oklahoma. Mrs. N. A. Newton was named as a person who would always know his address. He was employed by the Oklahoma Natural Gas Company of Tulsa.1
     Nelson Alonzo died in September 1979 at age 90.3

Also living in the household were, his sister, Roxana Scott (given age 46), his mother, Prudence Newton (given age 81), his nephews, Hurbert Newton (given age 20) and Victor M. Scott (given age 8), his niece, Hattie Scott (given age 16) .5
     George Washington died on 22 January 1904 at age 83.6
