      Nellie M. Horton was also known as Nettie. She was born on Saturday, 22 April 1882 at Seneca County, Ohio.2
     At age 16, Nellie M. Horton married Dr. Frederic Charles Gilcher, age 25 on Wednesday, 19 April 1899 Seneca County, Ohio.3 Nellie M. Gilcher (given age 18) was listed as the wife of Frederic C. Gilcher (given age 26) on the 1900 Census recorded 7 June 1900 at Republic, Seneca County, Ohio.4 Nellie M. Gilcher (given age 38) was listed as the wife of Frederic C. Gilcher (given age 36) on the 1910 Census recorded 19 April 1910 Republic, Seneca County, Ohio.5 Nellie M. Gilcher was named as the nearest relative of Frederic Charles Gilcher (given age 44) on his WWI draft registration on 12 September 1918 Republic, Seneca County, Ohio.6 Nellie M. Gilcher (given age 38) was listed as the wife of Fred C. Gilcher (given age 45) on the 1920 Census recorded 2 January 1920 at 70¾ South Washington Street, Tiffin, Seneca County, Ohio.7
     Nellie M. Gilcher and Dr. Frederic Charles Gilcher were divorced. Nellie M. Gilcher (given age 44) was listed as the servant of Aloada Zutavern (given age 65) on the 1930 Census recorded 11 April 1930 at Marion Street, Bloomville, Seneca County, Ohio. She was divorced and was employed as a Housekeeper.8
     Nellie died of Influenza on 25 August 1930 at 1223 Vinal Street, Toledo, Lucas County, Ohio, at age 48. She died at the home of her brother, Dewey Horton.2 She was buried on Thursday, 28 August 1930 Republic, Seneca County, Ohio.
