     The 1870 US Census enumerated him as William Lloyd (given age 45), the head of household Providence, Providence County, Rhode Island, on 13 June 1870. Sarah Lloyd (given age 40) and Sarah E. Lloyd (given age 5) were listed as household members. William was employed as a Painter.2
     The 1880 US Census enumerated him as William Lloyd (given age 55), the head of household at 110 Lester Street, Providence, Providence County, Rhode Island, on 2 June 1880. Also living in the household were his wife, Sarah Lloyd (given age 50), his daughter, Sarah E. Lloyd (given age 15), his sister-in-law, Mary A. Sherman (given age 63) . William was employed as a Painter.3
     His wife, Sarah, died on 1 March 1894 Providence, Providence County, Rhode Island, at age 63, leaving William as a widower.1,4
     The 1900 US Census enumerated him as Wm. Lloyd (given age 75), the head of household at 117 Chester Avenue, Providence, Providence County, Rhode Island, on 14 June 1900. Also living in the household was, his daughter, Sarah E. Lloyd (given age 35) , a boarder, Justin King.5
     William died on 3 April 1910 at 154 Park Avenue, Arlington, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.6 He was buried on Wednesday, 6 April 1910 in the Cambridge Cemetery, located at Cambridge, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.6
