     At age 22, John Bent married Hannah Stone, age 18, daughter of John Stone and Anne (?), on Monday, 1 July 1658.3
     John Bent married second Martha Rice, daughter of Matthew Rice and Martha Lamson, say 1687 at Sudbury, Middlesex County, Massachusetts Bay Colony, British America, (now Massachusetts).2,1
     His wife, Martha, died before October 1716, leaving John as a widower.
     John died on 19 September 1717 at Framingham, Middlesex County, Province of Massachusetts Bay, British America, (now Massachusetts), at age 81.1,2,3
