George was self employed as a farmer.⁴ He provided information for the death certificate of Samantha Brooks on Friday, 9 February 1923 Walnut Township, Bates County, Missouri.⁵
     The 1930 US Census enumerated him as George N. Craig (given age 64), the head of household Walnut Township, Bates County, Missouri, on 10 April 1930. Also living in the household were his wife, Ida Craig (given age 60), his sons, Lee Craig (given age 21) and Charles Craig (given age 19) . George was employed as a laborer at a saw mill.⁶
     His wife, Ida, died on 24 January 1944 Walnut Township, Bates County, Missouri, at age 74, leaving George Noah as a widower.^5,7
     George Noah died on 21 April 1956 at Nevada, Vernon County, Missouri, at age 90.⁷ He was buried in the Independence Cemetery, located at Hume, Bates County, Missouri.⁷

George was employed as a coal miner, operating a steam shovel crane, by Pittsburg Oskuluas Coal Co.¹ He was listed as the son of George N. Brooks (given age 35) on the 1910 Census recorded 21 April 1910 Jefferson Township, Cass County, Michigan.⁵ Alta M. Brooks was named as the nearest relative of Frank Westley Brooks (given age 43) on his WWI draft registration on 12 September 1918 at 820 East 5th Street, Flint, Genesee County, Michigan. Alta was his wife.⁶
