McClung (given age 55) on the 1880 Census recorded 1 June 1880 at Tama, Tama County, Iowa.⁴ Nancy N. McClung (given age 46) was listed as a household member living with Charles L. McClung (given age 60) on the 1885 Iowa State Census on 1 January 1885 at Seigel Street, Tama, Tama County, Iowa.⁵ Mrs. Nan V. McClung (given age 62) was listed as the mother of Isabel M. Chapman (given age 40) on the 1900 Census recorded 6 June 1900 at 2501 Jules Street, St. Joseph, Buchanan County, Missouri.⁶ Mrs. Nan V. McClung (given age 72) was listed as the mother-in-law of Louis C. Chapman (given age 50) on the 1910 Census recorded 18 April 1910 St. Joseph, Buchanan County, Missouri.⁷

She was born on Wednesday, 23 May 1860 at Clinton, Clinton County, Iowa.¹ Isabella McClung (given age 1 month) was listed as a household member living with C. L. McClung (given age 35) on the 1860 Census on 26 July 1860 at Massillon Township, Cedar County, Iowa.² Isa McClung (given age 20) was listed as the daughter of Charles L. McClung (given age 55) on the 1880 Census recorded 1 June 1880 at Tama, Tama County, Iowa.³
     At age 20, Isabella McClung married first John Edgar Chapman, son of Samuel Madison Chapman and Mary Elizabeth Rhineberger, on Thursday, 3 June 1880 Tama, Tama County, Iowa.¹
     Her husband, John, died on 30 October 1897 at St. Louis, Missouri, leaving Isabella as a widow.⁴
     The 1900 US Census enumerated her as Isabel M. Chapman (given age 40), the head of household at 2501 Jules Street, St. Joseph, Buchanan County, Missouri, on 6 June 1900. Also living in the household was, her daughter, Evah Chapman (given age 19), her mother, Mrs. Nan V. McClung (given age 62) .⁵
     At age 42, Isabella McClung married second Louis Cass Chapman, age 43, son of Samuel Madison Chapman and Mary Elizabeth Rhineberger, on Saturday, 9 May 1903 St. Louis, Missouri.⁴ Isabel Chapman (given age 50) was listed as the wife of Louis C. Chapman (given age 50) on the 1910 Census recorded 18 April 1910 St. Joseph, Buchanan County, Missouri.⁶
     Isabella died on 14 October 1925 at St. Joseph, Buchanan County, Missouri, at age 65.⁴ She was buried in the Mount Mora Cemetery, located at St. Joseph, Buchanan County, Missouri.⁴

     Charles H. McCartney was born on Wednesday, 17 December 1884 at Scipio Township, Seneca County, Ohio, son of H. McCartney and Jennie (Miley).^1,2
     Charles H. died in infancy at the age of 4 years, 7 months and 3 days on 20 July 1889 at Odessa Township, Ionia County, Michigan, at age 4.^3,4 He has also been reported to have died on Friday, 12 July 1889 at age 4 years, 6 months and 25 days.^2,5 He was buried in the Lakeside (Lakewood) Cemetery, located at Lake Odessa, Ionia County, Michigan.²
