     Ferdinand A. died of Civil War battle on 27 June 1864 at Kenesaw Mountain, Cobb County, Georgia, at age 25. Killed Company D, 101st Infantry Regiment Illinois on 27 Jun 1864 at Kenesaw Mountain, GA.1,4,2 He was buried in the Marietta National Cemetery, located at Marietta, Cobb County, Georgia. His tombstone inscription reads: 2332, Ferdinand A. Dimm, 1 Lieut. Co. D 101 Ill. Inf.. He is buried at section C site 2332.2

     The 1930 US Census enumerated him as Murray W. Brown (given age 39), the head of household at 3929A Fillmore Street, St. Louis, Missouri, on 26 April 1930. Also living in the household were his wife, Vera Brown (given age 35), his son, Warren Brown (given age 18) . Murray was employed as a Clerk for the Railroad.5
