     Thaddeus Howe married first Lavinia Brigham, age 23, daughter of Joseph Brigham and Comfort Bigelow, on Tuesday, 12 April 1757.¹
     His wife, Lavinia, died in August 1784 at age 51, leaving Thaddeus as a widower.¹
     Thaddeus Howe married Mrs. Prudence Holman.¹
     Thaddeus died on 18 March 1799.¹

     At age 21, Moses Sherman married Sarah Austin, age 17, daughter of Pasko Austin and Margaret Sunderland, on Wednesday, 31 March 1745 at Exeter, Washington County, Colony of Rhode Island, British America, (now Rhode Island).^4,1
     His wife, Sarah, died in 1757 Exeter, Washington County, Colony of Rhode Island, leaving Moses as a widower.
     At age 35, Moses Sherman married second Mary Tarbox on Thursday, 13 July 1758 Exeter, Washington County, Colony of Rhode Island.⁴
     The 1782 Rhode Island Census enumerated him as Moses Sherman (given age 50+), the head of household at Exeter, Washington County, Rhode Island, in 1782. Based on ages, it is possible that the following were also living in the household:, Mellicent Sherman, a free white female, ages twenty-two to fifty years of age, Sarah Sherman, a free white female, over fifty years of age. Moses Sherman Jr. was listed as a neighbor.⁵
     The 1790 US Census enumerated him as Moses Sherman, the head of household Exeter, Washington County, Rhode Island, on 2 August 1790. Based on ages, it is possible that the following were also living in the household: Sarah Sherman, a free white female. Moses Sherman Jr. was listed as his neighbor.⁶
     The 1800 US Census enumerated him as Moses Sherman, the head of household at Washington Township, Washington County, Rhode Island, on 4 August 1800. Based on ages, it is possible that the following were also living in the household:.⁷
     Moses died in 1807 Exeter, Washington County, Rhode Island.^1,8 He was buried in the Old Sherman Burial Ground, located at Exeter, Washington County, Rhode Island.⁹
