     Horace died on 29 August 1944 at 2501 West Buckeye Road, Phoenix, Maricopa County, Arizona, at age 76 leaving Hattie May as a widow.1 Horace Sherman was buried on Thursday, 31 August 1944 in the Greenwood Cemetery, located at Phoenix, Maricopa County, Arizona.1

Also living in the household were his wife, Frances Sherman (given age 26) .4 Oliver A. Sherman provided information for the death certificate of Horace Sherman (given age 76y 0m 29d) on Tuesday, 29 August 1944 at 2501 West Buckeye Road, Phoenix, Maricopa County, Arizona.5
     Oliver A. died in August 1974 at age 73.1

     Raymond Sherman was born on Saturday, 31 December 1904 at Michigan.1 He was listed as the son of Horace Sherman (given age 41) on the 1910 Census recorded 20 April 1910 at Murphy Precinct, Maricopa County, Arizona Territory, (now Arizona).2 Raymond Sherman (given age 15) was listed as the son of Horace Sherman (given age 51) on the 1920 Census recorded 2 January 1920 at Buckeye Road, Murphy Precinct, Maricopa County, Arizona.3 Ray C. Sherman (given age 25) was listed as the son of Horace Sherman (given age 61) on the 1930 Census recorded 17 April 1930 Murphy Precinct, Maricopa County, Arizona.4
     Raymond died in February 1970 at age 65.1

     Floyd Eli Sherman was born in August 1878 at Bengal Township, Clinton County, Michigan. He was listed as the son of Samuel Sherman (given age 39) on the 1880 Census recorded 5 June 1880 Bengal Township, Clinton County, Michigan.1 Floyd Sherman (given age 21) was listed as the brother of Horace Sherman (given age 31) on the 1900 Census recorded 6 June 1900 Bengal Township, Clinton County, Michigan.2
     At age 23, Floyd E. Sherman (given age 22) married Bertha Kelch (given age 19) on Tuesday, 24 September 1901 at St. Johns, Clinton County, Michigan.3
     The 1910 US Census enumerated him as Floyd Sherman (given age 31), the head of household at Ovid Township, Clinton County, Michigan, on 18 April 1910. Also living in the household were his wife, Bertha Sherman (given age 28), his sons, Kenneth Sherman (given age 7) and Robt. Sherman (given age 3) .4
     Floyd Eli Sherman (given age 40) registered for the World War I civilian draft on 12 September 1918, while residing at 303 Page Street, Grand Rapids, Kent County, Michigan. Bertha May Sherman was named as his nearest relative. Floyd occupation was Moulder for the Grand Rapids Foundry.5
     The 1920 US Census enumerated him as Floyd Sherman (given age 41), the head of household Grand Rapids, Kent County, Michigan, on 15 January 1920. Also living in the household were his wife, Bertha Sherman (given age 38), his sons, Kenneth Sherman (given age 17), Robert Sherman (given age 13) and Gordon Sherman (given age 6), his daughters, Elizabeth Sherman (given age 9) and Esther Sherman (given age 3y 2m) .6
     Floyd Eli died in 1929 in the Mount Rest Cemetery, located at St. Johns, Clinton County, Michigan.
