     Ruby M. died in October 1977 at Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri, at age 88.¹

     Hedgeman Franklin Watts was born on Thursday, 5 October 1882 at Quenemo, Osage County, Kansas.¹
     At age 42, Hedgeman Franklin Watts married Mattie Adeline Watts, age 33, daughter of Frank H. Watts and Kate Elizabeth McClung, on Sunday, 21 June 1925.¹

Also living in the household were his wife, Matie Watts (given age 38), his son, Merle S. Watts (given age 3) . Frank was self employed as a farmer.²
