Anna Lansdowne (given age 29) was listed as the wife of Samuel Lansdowne (given age 34) on the 1910 Census recorded 30 April 1910 at 29 South Main Street, Sharon, Mercer County, Pennsylvania.2,3 Anna Lansdowne was named as the nearest relative of Samuel Henry Lansdowne (given age 43) on his WWI draft registration on 12 September 1918 at Sharon, Mercer County, Pennsylvania.4
     Anna died say 1919 leaving Samuel Henry as a widower.

     Samuel Henry Lansdowne was born on Monday, 19 July 1875 at Youngstown, Mahoning County, Ohio.1,2 He was listed as the son of Samuel Lansdown (given age 52) on the 1900 Census recorded 7 June 1900 at 112 Oakland Avenue, Sharon, Mercer County, Pennsylvania.3
     Samuel Henry Lansdowne married first Anna McCartney, daughter of Joseph McCartney and Florence Mays, say 1901.
     The 1910 US Census enumerated him as Samuel Lansdowne (given age 34), the head of household at 29 South Main Street, Sharon, Mercer County, Pennsylvania, on 30 April 1910. Also living in the household were his wife, Anna Lansdowne (given age 29), his sons, Samuel Mead Lansdowne (given age 5) and William Ralph Lansdowne (given age 4 months), his daughter, Florence Mary Lansdowne (given age 8), his mother-in-law, Florence Mays (given age 49), his cousins, Hubert Carson (given age 25) and Edith Gertrude Shotts (given age 19) . Samuel was employed as a Policeman on the City Force.4,5
     Samuel Henry Lansdowne (given age 43) registered for the World War I civilian draft on 12 September 1918, while residing at Sharon, Mercer County, Pennsylvania. Anna Lansdowne was named as his nearest relative. Samuel was employed as the Chief of Police for the Borough of Sharon.1
     His wife, Anna, died say 1919, leaving Samuel Henry as a widower.

Also living in the household were, his sons, Samuel H. Lansdown (given age 15) and William Lansdown (given age 10), his daughter, Florence Lansdown (given age 17), his mother, Mary A. Lansdown (given age 73) . Samuel was the Police Chief.6
     Samuel Henry Lansdowne married second Agnes G. (?) say 1920.
     The 1930 US Census enumerated him as Samuel H. Lansdown (given age 50), the head of household at 401 New Castle Avenue, Sharon, Mercer County, Pennsylvania, on 5 April 1930. Also living in the household was his wife, Agnes G. Lansdown (given age 38). Samuel was employed as a finisher at an electric transformer plant.7
     Samuel Henry Lansdowne registered for the civilian draft for WW II on 27 April 1942, while residing Sharon, Mercer County, Pennsylvania. Agnes G. Lansdown (given age 38) was named as a person who would always know his address. Samuel was employed by Westinghouse, Sharon, Penna.2

     Florence Mary died in March 1987.1
