     Arthur Eugene Hamlin was born on Saturday, 23 September 1893 at Holland, Ottawa County, Michigan.1 He was listed as the son of H. Burt Hamlin (given age 28) on the 1900 Census recorded 12 June 1900 at 1102 East Bridge Street, Streator, La Salle County, Illinois.2 Arthur Hamlin (given age 16) was listed as the son of Clara Hamlin (given age 36) on the 1910 Census recorded 21 April 1910 at 222 East Mills Street, Colorado Springs, El Paso County, Colorado.3
     Arthur Eugene Hamlin married Clara A. Zimmerman say 1916.
     Arthur Eugene Hamlin (given age 24) registered for the World War I civilian draft on 5 June 1917, while residing at Peyton, El Paso County, Colorado. Arthur was self employed as an Auto Mobile Mechanic at a Garage in Peyton.1
     Arthur Eugene Hamlin began military service on 7 August 1918. Machinsts. Mate 2nd Class, US Navy, World War I.4,5
     The 1920 US Census enumerated him as Arthur E. Hamlin (given age 27), the head of household at 3624 Williams, Denver, Denver County, Colorado, on 8 January 1920. Also living in the household were his wife, Clara A. Hamlin (given age 24), his daughters, Josephine H. Hamlin (given age 1 year 9 months) and Dorothy Hamlin (given age 3 months) . Arthur was employed as the Manager at a Garage.6
     The 1930 US Census enumerated him as Arthur E. Hamlin (given age 35), the head of household Peyton, El Paso County, Colorado, on 8 April 1930. Also living in the household were his wife, Clara Hamlin (given age 34), his sons, James Hamlin (given age 8) and Robert Hamlin (given age 1 year 6 months), his daughters, Josephine Hamlin (given age 12), Dorothy Hamlin (given age 10), Althea Hamlin (given age 6) and Artice Hamlin (given age 3 years 6 months) . Arthur was employed as an Auto Mechanic at a Garage.7
     Arthur Eugene died in May 1964 at age 70.8 He was buried on Thursday, 28 May 1964 in the Fort Logan National Cemetery, located at Denver, Denver County, Colorado. Buried At Section P Site 193.5
