Also living in the household were his wife, Gladys J. Hamlin (given age 29), his son, James E. Hamlin (given age 3 years 2 months), his daughters, Dorothy M. Hamlin, Helen J. Hamlin (given age 5) and Virginia L. Hamlin (given age 1 year 7 months) . Clyde was employed as a Machinist at a Machine Tool Company.7
     His wife, Gladys, died on 8 April 1977 at Richland, Montcalm County, Michigan, at age 76, leaving Clyde Elwin as a widower.2,3
