Sophronia Wright (given age 30), Julia Wright (given age 6), Baby Wright (given age 1) and John Clark (given age 65) were listed as household members. Edward was self employed as a farmer.2
     The 1860 US Census enumerated him as Edward Wright (given age 49), the head of household Nettle Creek, Grundy County, Illinois, on 26 July 1860. Adams (given age 34) was listed as the wife of Edward E. Adams (given age 38) on the 1920 Census recorded 9 January 1920 Minneapolis, Hennepin County, Minnesota.4 Hazel Adams (given age 44) was listed as the wife of Edward E. Adams (given age 49) on the 1930 Census recorded 8 April 1930 at 4126 Washburn Avenue North, Minneapolis, Hennepin County, Minnesota.5

     James Henry Verbeck was born on Thursday, 24 September 1846 at Millington, Kendall County, Illinois.1
     James Henry Verbeck began military service on 8 March 1865. He enlisted as a Private in Company F, 36th Regiment Illinois Infantry.2 He ended military service on 23 October 1865.
     At age 24, James Henry Verbeck married Emily Sophronia Wright, daughter of Edward Wright and Sophronia Clark, on Tuesday, 24 January 1871 at Kendall County, Illinois.1,3
     The Missouri 1876 State Census enumerated him as J. H. Verbeck (given age 21-45), the head of household at Fletchall Township, Worth County, Missouri, in 1876. Based on ages, it is possible that the following were also living in the household:, Alice Verbeck (given age under 10) and Minnie Verbeck (given age under 10), free white females, age newborn to ten years of age, Emily Verbeck (given age 21-45), a free white female, ages twenty-six to forty-five years of age.4
     The 1880 US Census enumerated him as James Verbeck (given age 33), the head of household Fletchall Township, Worth County, Missouri, on 19 June 1880. Also living in the household were his wife, Emily S. Verbeck (given age 31), his daughters, Alice Verbeck (given age 8) and Minnie Verbeck (given age 6) . James was self employed as a farmer.5
     A special veteran's schedule of the 1890 US Census enumerated him as James Henry Verbeck at Grant City, Worth County, Missouri, in 1890.2
     His wife, Emily, died in 1899 Fletchall Township, Worth County, Missouri, leaving James Henry as a widower.1
     The 1900 US Census enumerated him as James Verbeck (given age 54), the head of household Grant City, Worth County, Missouri, on 4 June 1900. Also living in the household was, his daughters, Minnie Verbeck (given age 26) and Alice C. Prugh (given age 28), his son-in-law, William Prugh (given age 33) . James was employed as a walnut lumber dealer.6
     The 1910 US Census enumerated him as James Verbeck (given age 64), the head of household Grant City, Worth County, Missouri, on 21 April 1910. Also living in the household was, his daughter, Minnie Verbeck (given age 35). James was employed as a log exporter.7
     James Henry died in 1912 Fletchall Township, Worth County, Missouri.1

H. Verbeck (given age 21-45) on the Missouri 1876 State Census in 1876 at Fletchall Township, Worth County, Missouri.3 Alice Verbeck (given age 8) was listed as the daughter of James Verbeck (given age 33) on the 1880 Census recorded 19 June 1880 Fletchall Township, Worth County, Missouri.4
     At age 24, Alice May Verbeck married William Carey Prugh, age 29, son of Benjamin Prugh and Isabelle Drake, on Wednesday, 8 July 1896.1 Alice C. Prugh (given age 28) was listed as the daughter of James Verbeck (given age 54) on the 1900 Census recorded 4 June 1900 at Grant City, Worth County, Missouri.5 Alice M. Prugh (given age 38) was listed as the wife of William C. Prugh (given age 43) on the 1910 Census recorded 19 April 1910 Grant City, Worth County, Missouri.6 Alice Prugh (given age 47) was listed as the wife of Wm. C. Prugh (given age 52) on the 1920 Census recorded 8 January 1920 Grant City, Worth County, Missouri.7 Alice V. Prugh (given age 58) was listed as the wife of William C. Prugh (given age 63) on the 1930 Census recorded 4 April 1930 at Grant City, Preble County, Ohio.7
     Her husband, William, died on 8 January 1941 Grant City, Worth County, Missouri, at age 73, leaving Alice May as a widow.1,2
     Alice Verbeck died on 10 August 1944 Grant City, Worth County, Missouri, at age 72.1,2

Verbeck (given age 21-45) on the Missouri 1876 State Census in 1876 at Fletchall Township, Worth County, Missouri.3 Minnie Verbeck (given age 6) was listed as the daughter of James Verbeck (given age 33) on the 1880 Census recorded 19 June 1880 Fletchall Township, Worth County, Missouri.4 Minnie Verbeck (given age 26) was listed as the daughter of James Verbeck (given age 54) on the 1900 Census recorded 4 June 1900 at Grant City, Worth County, Missouri.5 Minnie Verbeck (given age 35) was listed as the daughter of James Verbeck (given age 64) on the 1910 Census recorded 21 April 1910 Grant City, Worth County, Missouri.6 Minnie Verbeck (given age 46) was listed as the sister-in-law of Wm. C. Prugh (given age 52) on the 1920 Census recorded 8 January 1920 Grant City, Worth County, Missouri.7
     Minnie Belle died of acute coronary sclerosis on 10 July 1945 at Missouri Methodist Hospital, St. Joseph, Buchanan County, Missouri, at age 70. Minnie was self employed as a music teacher. She never married.1,2
