     Charles E. Perry was born in April 1865 at Kalamazoo, Kalamazoo County, Michigan.1
     Charles E. Perry married second Clara Grace Ellis, age 19, daughter of Rev. Clarence L. Ellis and Mary A. Fassett (?), on Wednesday, 28 April 1897 at Flowerfield, Ingham County, Michigan.1
     The 1900 US Census enumerated him as Charles E. Perry (given age 35), the head of household at Eaton Rapids, Eaton County, Michigan, on 16 June 1900. Also living in the household was his wife, Clara G. Perry (given age 22), his son, Herman P. Perry (given age 2 months) . Charles was employed as a clergyman.2
     The 1910 US Census enumerated him as Charles Perry (given age 45), the head of household at Ross Township, Kalamazoo County, Michigan, on 5 May 1910. Also living in the household were his wife, Clara G. Perry (given age 32), his son, Fayette H. Perry (given age 10), his daughter, Gladys V. Perry (given age 5) . Charles was employed as a Methodist clergyman.3 He provided information for the death certificate of Fayette Perry (given age 11 years, 2 months, 3 days) on Monday, 12 June 1911 Ross Township, Kalamazoo County, Michigan.4
     Charles E. died of Charles was employed as a Minister of Gospel on 28 September 1912 Ross Township, Kalamazoo County, Michigan, at age 47 leaving Clara Grace as a widow.4 Charles E. Perry was buried on Monday, 30 September 1912 in the East Hickory Corners Cemetery, located at Hickory Corners, Barry County, Michigan.4,5

Perry (given age 10) was listed as the son of Charles Perry (given age 45) on the 1910 Census recorded 5 May 1910 at Ross Township, Kalamazoo County, Michigan.3
     Fayette died of accidental drowning on 12 June 1911 Ross Township, Kalamazoo County, Michigan, at age 11.4 He was buried on Wednesday, 14 June 1911 in the East Hickory Corners Cemetery, located at Hickory Corners, Barry County, Michigan.4,5
