At age 23, Elizabeth Keyes married Maj. Calvin Newton Sr., age 24, son of Marshall Newton Sr. and Hannah Willard, on Tuesday, 16 January 1787 Shrewsbury, Worcester County, Massachusetts.2,3,4

Elizabeth died in 1847 at Glenns Falls, Saratoga County, New York. She survived her husband twenty-four years, and died at the home of her son, Daniel S. Newton.4
