Neiman (given age 65) on the 1910 Census recorded 18 April 1910 at C Street, Whitewater, Butler County, Kansas.3
Aunt Eva Neiman came to Whitewater in 1893 with her sister, Sue, to live with their aunt, Mary Margaret Neiman Joseph. The girls became discipline problems after the death of their mother in 1892, and their father thought that his sister could better provide the discipline and training they needed. They both matured into lovely, talented women, and Aunt Eva attended the State Normal School in Emporia, KS. She had a beautiful contralto voice, and often sang solos at church and community events. She was, for many years, a milliner. As a young woman, she dated a Reformed Church minister who jilted her. It crushed her, and she never married, but had great influence in the training of her nieces as proper young ladies in the grand Victorian style.1

Eva died on 30 September 1940 at Newton, Harvey County, Kansas, at age 61.1 She was buried in the Whitewater Cemetery, located at Whitewater, Butler County, Kansas.1
