Claud was employed as a Driver for an Oil Company.5
     The 1930 US Census enumerated him as Claud Hoag (given age 51), the head of household at 624 East Comstock Street, Owosso, Shiawassee County, Michigan, on 5 April 1930. Also living in the household were his wife, Nellie Hoag (given age 48), his son, Ronald Hoag (given age 11) . Claud was employed as a Brick Layer.6
