Seward (given age 32) was listed as the wife of A. Clark Seward (given age 30) on the 1900 Census recorded 1 June 1900 at 36 West Delaware Avenue, Toledo, Lucas County, Ohio.2 Mae H. Seward (given age 41) was listed as the wife of A. Clark Seward (given age 40) on the 1910 Census recorded 20 April 1910 at Van Buran Avenue, Ravena, Albany County, New York.3
     The 1920 US Census enumerated her as May Seward (given age 51), the head of household at East Avenue, Landis Township, Cumberland County, New Jersey, on 14 January 1920. Also living in the household were, her son, Walter H. Seward (given age 23), her daughters, Dorothy L. Seward (given age 25) and Cornelia I. Seward (given age 17) .4 Mrs. Mae H. Seward was named as a person who would always know an address for Walter H. Seward (given age 45) on his WWII draft registration on 25 April 1942 at 70 Halsey Street, Newark, Essex County, New Jersey.5
