Charles was a Farmer.5
     At age 25, Charles Henry Newton married first Emily Walker, daughter of Solomon Walker and Polly Washburn, on Tuesday, 28 December 1852 at Milford, Worcester County, Massachusetts.6
     His wife, Emily, died of Convulsions on 2 October 1857 Shrewsbury, Worcester County, Massachusetts, leaving Charles Henry as a widower.6,7

Burr (given age 21), Charles Franklin Burr, Myron Brewer (given age 21) and Eliza Brewer (given age 15) were listed as household members. Charles was a Farmer and own a farm valued at $6,000.8

Newton (given age 39), Frederick H. Newton (given age 15), Charles W. Newton (given age 12), Frank E. Newton (given age 6), Edward B. Newton (given age 3), Anna F. Newton (given age 1) and Frank Hasmel (given age 26) were listed as household members. Calvin Newton (given age 78) was listed as his neighbor. Charles was a Farmer and owned a farm valued at $6,000.9
     His wife, Melvina, died of Congestion of Lungs on 10 March 1874 Shrewsbury, Worcester County, Massachusetts, at age 42, leaving Charles Henry as a widower.6
     The 1880 US Census enumerated him as Charles H. Newton (given age 52), the head of household Milford, Worcester County, Massachusetts, on 22 June 1880. Also living in the household were, his sons, Frank E. Newton (given age 16) and Edward B. Newton (given age 13), his daughter, Annie F. Newton (given age 11) , a servant, Eliza J. Brigham (given age 39). Charles was a Widower, working as a Farm Hand.10,11 He was listed as the father of Eduard B. Newton (given age 33) on the 1900 Census recorded 14 June 1900 at Upton, Worcester County, Massachusetts.12
     Charles Henry died on 23 January 1909 Upton, Worcester County, Massachusetts, at age 81.6 He was buried on Tuesday, 26 January 1909 in the Lakeview Tomb, located at Upton, Worcester County, Massachusetts.

     At age 22, George Albert Newton married Sarah Jane Mahan, age 18, daughter of Solomon Mahan and Mary (?), on Thursday, 31 May 1855 Shrewsbury, Worcester County, Massachusetts.4
     The 1860 US Census enumerated him as George A. Newton (given age 27), the head of household Shrewsbury, Worcester County, Massachusetts, on 6 June 1860. Sarah J. Newton (given age 23), George E. Newton (given age 3) and Michael Basset (given age 20) were listed as household members. George was a Farmer.5
     The 1880 US Census enumerated him as Geo. A. Newton (given age 46), the head of household Shrewsbury, Worcester County, Massachusetts, on 3 June 1880. Also living in the household were his wife, Sarah J. Newton (given age 43) , a boarder, Sidney Rogers (given age 49). John Calvin Newton was listed as his neighbor. Geo. was a Farmer.6,7
     The 1900 US Census enumerated him as George A. Newton (given age 67), the head of household Shrewsbury, Worcester County, Massachusetts, on 4 June 1900. Also living in the household was his wife, Sarah J. Newton (given age 63), his brother-in-law, George H. Mahan (given age 75) .8
     George Albert died on 18 December 1908 Shrewsbury, Worcester County, Massachusetts, at age 75 leaving Sarah Jane as a widow.4 George Albert Newton was buried in the Mountain View Cemetery, located at Shrewsbury, Worcester County, Massachusetts.9
