     Alonzo Keeler began military service on 17 September 1861 Ohio. Enlisted in Company C, Ohio 55th Infantry Regiment as a Corporal on 17 Sep 1861 at the age of 19. Promoted to Full Corporal (Appointed) on 01 Oct 1862. Promoted to Full Sergeant on 01 Jan 1864.2,3 He ended military service on 11 July 1865 at Louisville, Jefferson County, Kentucky. Mustered Out Company C, 55th Infantry Regiment Ohio on 11 Jul 1865 at Louisville, KY.2,3
     Alonzo Keeler married Mary E. Burgoon.
     The 1870 US Census enumerated him as Alanzo Keeler (given age 28), the head of household at Sandusky Township, Sandusky County, Ohio, on 13 July 1870. Mary Keeler (given age 20) and Charles Keeler (given age 1) were listed as household members. Alanzo was self employed as a Farmer.4
     Alonzo Keeler applied for a Civil War military pension in 1876.5
     His wife, Mary, died say December 1879, leaving Alonzo as a widower.
     The 1880 US Census enumerated him as Alonzo Keeler (given age 38), the head of household at Middleton Township, Wood County, Ohio, on 2 June 1880. Also living in the household were, his sons, Charles C. B. Keeler (given age 11) and Ira Keeler (given age 7 months), his daughters, Arminta Keeler (given age 9), Gracie Keeler (given age 7), Jessey Keeler (given age 4) and Burtha Keeler (given age 7 months), his sister, Laura Keeler (given age 42) . Alonzo was self employed as a Farmer.6

     The 1870 US Census enumerated him as Clark M. Keeler (given age 24), the head of household at Middleton Township, Wood County, Ohio, on 17 August 1870. Anna E. Keeler (given age 20) and Gurdon Keeler (given age 1) were listed as household members. Clark was self employed as a Farmer.4
     The 1880 US Census enumerated him as Clark Keeler (given age 34), the head of household Middleton Township, Wood County, Ohio, on 2 June 1880. Also living in the household were his wife, Anna E. Keeler (given age 29), his sons, Girdan P. Keeler (given age 10) and Earnest Keeler (given age 4), his daughter, Addie Keeler (given age 2) . Clark was self employed as a Farmer.5
     Clark M. Keeler applied for a Civil War military pension on 15 February 1891 at Ohio.6
     The 1900 US Census enumerated him as Clark Keeler (given age 55), the head of household at Haskins Corporation, Wood County, Ohio, on 5 July 1900. Also living in the household was his wife, Anna Keeler (given age 49), his son, Daniel E. Keeler (given age 14), his daughters, Adda Keeler (given age 21) and Edna Keeler (given age 17) . Clark was employed as the Keeper of a Livery Stable.7
     The 1910 US Census enumerated him as Clark M. Keeler (given age 64), the head of household at Haskins, Wood County, Ohio, on 21 April 1910. Also living in the household were his wife, Annie M. Keeler (given age 59), his daughter, Edna V. Hilt, his grandson, Clark C. Holt (given age 7), his granddaughters, Edna M. Keeler (given age 11) and Anna M. Holt (given age 6) . Clark was employed as the Proprietor of a Livery Stable.8
     The 1920 US Census enumerated him as Clark M. Keeler (given age 73), the head of household Haskins, Wood County, Ohio, on 28 January 1920. Also living in the household was his wife, Annie E. Keeler (given age 69). Gurdon E. Keeler (given age 50) was listed as his neighbor. Clark was employed at a Truck Garden.9
     Clark M. died on 12 March 1920 Haskins, Wood County, Ohio, at age 74 leaving Anna E. M. as a widow.1,2 Clark M. Keeler (given age 74 years 2 months) was buried on Tuesday, 16 March 1920 at Waterville, Lucas County, Ohio.1
