Also living in the household were his wife, Lilla K. Kyser (given age 18), his brother-in-law, Merle Kinney (given age 8), his father-in-law, Clarence C. Kinney (given age 44) .4
     Charles Milton Kyser (given age 33) registered for the World War I civilian draft on 12 September 1918, while residing at RFD 3, Coldwater, Branch County, Michigan. Lilla L. Kyser was named as his nearest relative. Charles was employed as a Timberman Overseer by Merl D. Calkins of Ovid Township.1
     The 1920 US Census enumerated him as Charles M. Kyser (given age 35), the head of household Algansee Township, Branch County, Michigan, on 14 January 1920. Also living in the household were his wife, Lella M. Kyser (given age 28), his sons, Milton C. Kyser (given age 7) and Clarence A. Kyser (given age 4 years, 6 months), his daughters, Rea Kyser (given age 8) and Frances C. Kyser (given age 2 years, 4 months), his brother, Theodore E. Kyser (given age 14) .5
     The 1930 US Census enumerated him as Charles Kiser (given age 45), the head of household at Onondaga Township, Ingham County, Michigan, on 24 April 1930.
