     Richard Newton married Anne Loker, age 31, daughter of Henry Loker and Elizabeth French, on Saturday, 9 August 1636 at St. Mary, Bures, Suffolk, England.3,4,5 There are reports that Richard Newton married Anne Loker at Sudbury, Middlesex County, Massachusetts Bay Colony, British America, (now Massachusetts). These are now in doubt.2,6
     Richard Newton arrived at Boston, Suffolk County, Massachusetts Bay Colony, British America, (now Massachusetts), aboard the Confidence on 24 April 1638. He was accompanied by his wife Anne Newton his child Hannah Newton. The ship's master was John Jobson; it weighed 200 tons when it departed Southampton.7,8 He was described as an original proprietor in 1639 at Sudbury, Middlesex County, Province of Maryland, British America, Maryland.3,9 He was described as a Freeman who "took the oath" on 26 May 1647 Sudbury, Middlesex County, Province of Maryland.3,9 He was described as a debtor to the estate of Nathaniel Sparrowhawke of Cambridge on 27 June 1647.3,9
     His wife, Anne, died on 5 December 1697 at Marlborough, Middlesex County, Province of Massachusetts Bay, British America, (now Massachusetts), at age 92, leaving Richard as a widower.10,9,11,1,6

Peter was a Farmer.7
     Peter died on 27 July 1870 Medina Township, Lenawee County, Michigan, leaving Jane S. as a widow.8

     The 1930 US Census enumerated him as John F. McClung (given age 76), the head of household at 1622 Somerst Avenue, Seattle, King County, Washington, on 15 April 1930. Also living in the household were his wife, Nora McClung (given age 65), his son, Guy McClung (given age 42), his grandson, Guy McClung Jr. (given age 4 years, 2 months), his granddaughters, Mary J. McClung (given age 8) and Betty A. McClung (given age 5) .8
     John Franklin died on 24 October 1932 at Seattle, King County, Washington, at age 78.1
