     The 1900 US Census enumerated him as David McClung (given age 68), the head of household at Fern Bank, Hamilton County, Ohio, on 1 June 1900. Also living in the household was his wife, Anna C. McClung (given age 62) , a servant, Emma Bradley (given age 27). David was employed as an attorney.4 He applied for amilitary pension on 3 August 1903 at Ohio.5 He was listed as a boarder of Catherine D. Bowdle (given age 42) on the 1910 Census recorded 26 April 1910 at West Lafayette Avenue, Cincinnati, Hamilton County, Ohio.6
     David Waddle died on 18 August 1916 at 136 West McMillan Street, Cincinnati, Hamilton County, Ohio, at age 84 leaving Anna Carter as a widow.1,7 Col. David Waddle McClung was buried on Monday, 21 August 1916.1

     The 1910 US Census enumerated him as John C. McClung (given age 67), the head of household at State Street, Leipsic, Putnam County, Ohio, on 3 May 1910. Also living in the household were his wife, Sarah McClung (given age 65), his son, Hartley W. McClung (given age 32), his daughters, Anna McClung (given age 39) and Elizabeth B. McClung (given age 30) . David A. McClung (given age 41) was listed as his neighbor. He was a Physican Surgeon.8
     John Calvin died on 3 February 1911 Leipsic, Putnam County, Ohio, at age 68.1 He was buried on Monday, 6 February 1911 in the Sugar Ridge Cemetery, located at Leipsic, Putnam County, Ohio.1
